Community Care Assistant - Codsall

At Nexxus Care our Care Assistants are caring and supporting individuals within their own home, we expect our care assistants to carry out person centred care to all service users within our care. 

Qualities were looking for:

• Empathetic and compassionate – Going back to basics, we need individuals who are passionate about providing care and support to residents of all abilities
• Able to build rapport and relationships quickly
• Trustworthy and reliable – Are you punctual? Can you manage your time well?
• Resilience? – Care is extremely rewarding, but can you handle the challenges as well as the fulfilment
• Flexible – We try our best to ensure you can work the shifts preferred, but on occasions you may need to be flexible

What we need from you:

• Can you work shifts between 7am and 10pm e.g 7am-2.30pm/2.30pm -10pm? 
• Desire to provide personal care and support services to residents which respect rights and choices
• Do you have the right to work in the UK with proofs? (i.e., passport, Visa)
• We’ll need to complete a DBS check if you’re successful, we will cover the initial cost of this – T&Cs apply
• Provide professional references – We’ll need at least 2 references from you previous employers
• Complete mandatory 3-day classroom-based induction held locally – You’ll be paid to attend your training, and our training and recruitment team are always available to help
