Laundry Assistant - Temporary position for 6 months

Nexxus Care are recruiting laundry assistants in Burntwood to support with laundry tasks for adults with dementia.

The Laundry Assistant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Assist in an effective laundry service implementation and delivery
Complete inventory of clothing for all residents including respite residents
Labelling of residents items
Ensure that service users’ rights are protected
Follow cleaning schedules, and suggest improvements when it is identified that they would improve practice
Promote infection control, and use identified systems to eliminate cross infection
Use systems to ensure that service users’ clothing is not damaged or lost during the laundry process
