Waking Nights Support Worker - Chestnut Grange
Nexxus Care are recruiting for a motivated and experienced Waking Nights Support Worker to come and join our team at Chestnut Grange, Burton on Trent
Experience within the care sector is needed as the role is lone working.
Shift patterns-
Week One - Monday 22.00pm - 07.00am
Week Two - Monday and Saturday 22.00pm - 07.00am
The role of a Nexxus care assistant is varied in its duties and no 2 days will be the same. Chestnut Grange is an extra care scheme looking after clients who live in there own home (without the travelling) . You will support with aspects of their personal care as well as ensuring they are remaining safe, comfortable and most importantly happy within their home.
Due to the level of Female service users that are within our care, unfortunately we are unable to take on a male worker for this role.
Some duties may include:
- Provide personal care whilst maintaining independence, respect and dignity, following each individual care plan.
- Providing person centred care and completing care documentation correctly.
- Household duties within Chestnut Grange, adhering to health and safety and Coshh regulations.
- Ensure all alarm bells are answered in a timely manner
- Dealing with possible emergencies
- Taking outside phone calls
- Covering sickness and annual leave when required
