Residential Care Assistant -Tamworth
No experience required as full training and support provided | Part time role - 21 hours per week
Nexxus Care are seeking compassionate and reliable care assistants to join our team at Meadowyrthe in Tamworth. The role of our care assistants involves supporting clients to live as independently as possible whilst maintaining a high standard of person-centred care, dignity and wellbeing.
Meadowyrthe provides care and support to individuals living with Dementia - ensuring we are delivering a high quality service that is safe, supportive and inclusive.
Duties can include:
- Assist with personal care, including hygiene, meals, fluids and daily support
- Promoting independence and support to ensure individuals are making informed choices
- Support senior members of the team by ensuring administration tasks are completed
- Contribute to the key information of residents to ensure care plans remain up to date and relevant
- Encourage participation of activities and social events.
- Working alongside other departments to ensure safety and cleanliness of the home is maintained
- Follow guidance, policies, procedures and regulations to remain compliant
- Remain confidential and promote dignity at all times
